The Story of

I started what I call making my mark during one of my brother's baseball games. A few minutes before we left the house I printed off lettering pages from my favorite Instagram artist who is also interested in lettering. I grabbed some Crayola pens I found in my desk drawer and sat on the bleachers tracing page after page of letters in the alphabet. I spent more time tracing those print out pages than I spent doing homework. all that time practicing helped me improve and gain the skills I have today.

I fell in love with lettering and took the time to find people on Instagram who I admired  I found out things like the platforms they used and materials. One important thing I learned after spending two years practicing lettering is that there is always more to learn. There will always be something you can improve on no matter how long you have worked on that skill you can always learn from people. Always be sure to take time to step back and see how you have improved, look at your journey and be proud of what you have accomplished.
